Free up space on a simulation computer's hard drive
Delete Unnecessary Database Backups
- Open the following location on the PC with the full hard drive: C:\5DT.
- Open the Database_Backup folder.
- Open the folder that corresponds to the version of the software running on the simulator machine.
- With the exception of the most recent, delete all the EntityReportSpecificXml folders and Users97 files.
Delete Unnecessary Recordings
- Open the following location on the PC with the full hard drive: C:\5DT.
- Open the build folder that corresponds to the version of the software running on the simulator machine.
- Next go to the following location within the build folder: Data\Modules\Default\Users\Recordings
- Delete all the files which are more than 6 months old.
Empty the Recycle Bin
- Right click on the Recycle Bin on the desktop.
- Select the Empty Recycle Bin option.
- Select Yes on the dialogue box that appears to empty the recycle bin.
